Thanks, Miss Mouse. The "amazing" is sheer kindness, but the "breathtaking" shows a fellow craftsman's insight - I think I held my breath while working on the tiniest lines. Probably not a winning long-term strategy, but it keeps my hand steady. How do you do it?

I work between breaths. ^_^ And sometimes I forget that I need to breathe, though that can be problematic when I finally do remember...

i actually went "wow....." out loud. i really really like this one, the greater areas of dark and the slight hints of other colors are really striking.

I loved finding out how white paint on other colors, like the black ink, didn't turn into the colors I was expecting. White watercolor on black ink turns into that delicious slate blue.
