Yep, Ennis is showing his true friendship in this story and love for this man, and showing that it really is more then sexual gratification something that he always had a hard time showing. Joe

Such a sad time for Jack. Gratefully Ennis drove to Texas to give him love and support. Looking forward to more.

I am glad Ennis pushed fear and shame aside and made Jacks feelings priority, this is a time when Jack need his love and support more then anything, losing someone to death is painful, losing a child is devastating and the pain just never leaves but it can be tolerable if it is shared with the one you love. Lureen is the mother of the child and I am so sad for her as well but it was she who led Ennis to Jack, perhaps knowing in her heart this is where they belonged. I love the part when Ennis embraces Jack and sings a song from a long time ago,a reminiscing moment of BBM and Ennis humming to Jack the next day after the first night in the tent.
Thank you for the update and a big thank you to Sam for his help, hope you are doing alright.

thanks a lot - also from Sam - for you appreciation. I find the impulse to go on writing knowing that you alla like these works.
I'm on holiday from tomorrow till june2, national holiday here, so I should have time to write.
It's very very hot here and we all hope it will rain soon
