Hey! I read this over on dA, and I meant to comment there, but it's cool you've posted here because I much prefer to comment on LJ for some reason (maybe because I'm a toad).

Anyhow, yeah...I really liked this piece! I feel like it's possibly the best one I've read by you to date. I love how you get into Castiel's head, and you're not afraid to explore that darkness. It was very well executed and a compelling read. Well done!

(And I totally write dark, angsty shit when I'm in a mood, too...so you're not alone! *cuddle* )

That was astounding! The sheer desolate hopelessness was gut wrenchingly sad. And the end! The end! I didn't know whether I should cry or what it was so bitter sweet.

This is my favourite kind of fic! Favourite bit should be all the brilliant description of the snow, the trees, the whole environment (this was very well done!), but if I'm honest, it was really Dean calling Cas "baby" at the end. I've never read one where he actually uses a soppy endearment where it's most needed and there's no sex. The context here was really emotionally powerful. Yum!
