I guess it's a marketing ploy. It's a name for Shell's highest grade of gasoline, which is allegedly no better than any of the other companys'highest grade, other than it being called 'V-Power'.

Originally I took the photo to document a record-hike in Gas prices, but the light hit the words 'v-power' just so.
