I dedicate this post to quietcontrary because she has requested that I update more often and how can I refuse her? For I am quite sure I love her very much and won't be able to bear it when she leaves me for two weeks(*weeps bitterly*). In addition to her being fun, funny, sweet, a wonderful writer, kind, and my long lost bestest friend, she is generous! She ( Read more... )

Hee! Miracles do happen! ;)

You'll love Brokeback, I'm sure! I'm sorry you have to wait so long; I thought I was going to die having to wait as long as I did.

For Brokeback Mountain I think I cried so much because I was spoiled entirely (which pissed me off).

Walk the Line is a musical though and Joaquin probably wouldn't have won in the drama cetergory. Philip Seymour Hoffman is beating the hell out of everyone in that catergory.

I was spoiled, too. Well, I knew what was going to happen at the end, I just didn't know to whom and when/how. Some asshat spoiled it for me.

I still don't think it's a musical. Musicals are where people randomly break into song and part of the story is told through song. Walk the Line is a drama about Johnny Cash with lots of singing it.

I knew it all...and I knew the whole shirt thing. Le sigh.

Granted I haven't seen Walk the Line yet (seeing it this week) but from what I hear don't the songs kind of help tell the story? In relation to what's going on and the relationship between Johnny and June? Either way there's just so much music. Oh legality.

Aw! The shirt thing was the best and totally got me. I probably should have seen it coming, but didn't and was thrilled.

Not really. I mean, some of the songs relate to what is happening in their relationship, but any songs that are in the show are when Johnny or June are performing on stage or writing the songs.

Of course I am! It's just not a class through BG so I didn't list it. :)

(And if you read the last bit of the post, you'd notice I did mention stuff about my feet from dance!)
