His insanity is clear to an reasonable person. The problem is there aren't enough of those. :(

I must say I was quite shocked yesterday. I was reading about Nancy Pelosi on Yahoo News, and for some reason scrolled down and read comments on the story. I was shocked by the venom, by the illiteracy, by the stupidity of the comments from both sides. Every one sounded as if it had been written by some undereducated, religious fanatic, and that is from both sides of the fence. Being used to articulate, compassionate and meaningful (even if I don't always agreed!) for the most part, here and on BC,as well as in RL, this came as something of an eye opener. These people are intelligent enough to use a computer, interested enough to follow a political story and care enough to comment, and yet the standard in all aspects was so low I just couldn't believe it. If there had been one or two comments and the rest had been reasonable I would have shrugged, and thought, "Well, you always get a few nutters".....but all of them? Scary.
