Mine was good, and kind of tangy, like "Hawaiian" bread.

I love the idea of it. :-)

I have had it. I also have the starter recipe some where around here. It's a great way to bring people together.

Oh, it sounds like the Friendship Cake that was going around my friends about 15-20 years ago. And we used to pass around a ginger beer starter too. Great idea :)

Cinnamon and sugar, even instant pudding mix. Very sweet, but good.
