Friday had to be the scariest day of my life. Oh man. My school got a bomb and gun threat, which I've never experienced before because I'm just a wee little freshman. Seeing as there was just a huge school shooting a few days ago, I was really really really freaked out. I wouldn't have come to school, but I didn't hear about it until after I got on ( Read more... )

My school witnessed a bomb threat as well. The kid who threatened was a tormented kid who's always on the edge and he finally cracked. He's one of the few people that you actually believe could blow up the school. I hope your school recovers from the scare. I hope your Physics teacher turns out all right.

As for the religion thing, I'm on the fence. I neither confirm nor deny the existance of God. I think that being a Christian has turned into a very fluid concept. There are so many denominations and versions of the Bible that it's nearly impossible to take it literally. I like to think that if you're a good person with a good heart your reward will be heaven. I think that if there really is a God, he'll love us for who we are instead of hold up bars against us. But that's just my two cents.

Thank you so much for actually taking the time to read the post and write that! I know I always talk way too much...

I think your beliefs are a good way to go. I'd like to still start going to church, but not necessarily believe EVERYTHING they say immediately. I just want to go and see if it makes me feel closer to God and if not, I can always stop going. And I'll read the Bible and see what I get out of it. I'll just believe the things I learn and read that feel right...you know? When I get that feeling that you kind of described.
