Well, I can say this much about Eponine, before I post my full review...
She had a weird twitchy thing she did with her hand, which was kind of annoying. I did like her voice, and overall, I found her acting to be a good combination of streetwise and unrequited love. However, she MASSIVELY fucked up two verses in "On My Own." She literally switched the second and third verses, and got many of the words messed up. For example, she sang: "And when I close my eyes, I close my eyes, and he has found me." However, her portrayal was good enough that I cried during "A Little Fall of Rain."
I am not nearly as familiar with the novel as you are, though (I read an abridged version over ten years ago), so my thoughts about the character of Eponine are probably not as canon-accurate as yours are, unfortunately.
