“The BAU Zone,” a fanfiction by PhantomDaae1981.

Wow... very eerie. When I read the summary I was like ...? but it was interesting the way you pulled it off. I really liked it - the tone was amazing.

Thank you; eerie is definitely what I was going for.

Wow, that's really disturbing, but I like the way you executed the idea.

Seems I'm not the only one who has had distressing Criminal Minds dreams lately. Something about this show gets into your subconscious, I think.

Thanks so much. Yeah, I often have dreams about CM. But this is the first dream I've had which was actually really fucked up, instead of being something silly or cute in some way. A dream analyst could probably have a field day with this, considering the fact that I'm a Reid fangirl and also a rape survivor. I do NOT like having dreams of Reid as a rapist, but I felt compelled to write a story based upon my weird dream, all the same.

Yeah, I totally get what you mean (though all of my CM dreams are pretty disturbing in one way or another). I wound up writing a CM fic after a dream that was similar yet very different to yours, which revolved around Emily, and it was the first Emily fic that I wrote. And after, I was like: I swear, I love Emily as a character, but I had this dream and needed to write it down.

Funny how the mind works sometimes.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply!
