Flying is so confusing now. The rules keep changing. The liquids and laptop and one carry-on thing has been around for awhile, but if you don't fly often they just kind of assume that you know. I got in trouble flying from Ireland to Spain because I didn't know that Ireland had changed its rule about liquids in carry-on bags literally in the couple of weeks between when I'd last flown into the country and when I was leaving it again.
Are there still size restrictions on carry-on liquids? I'm going to be flying in a few weeks and don't want to have to check a bag, so I'm going to have to figure out everything again!
I haven't flown since Norway in college so I'm a little rusty on the rules. I knew I was compliant with the carry on's, I just had taken my purse out of my laptop bag so I could have easier access to my driver's license for going through security.
The liquids rule is nothing more than 3 ounces and they all have to fit in a clear gallon size bag. That is only for carry ons. And you need to take the plastic bag out of the carry on before going through security. Basically, I just went to Target and got stuff from their travel section since I knew the sizes would be okay.
