Hm. While The Court of Air definitely grabbed me, The Kingdom Beyond the Waves hasn't managed to pull me in well enough to finish reading the book. I'm sure that I will eventually, but it just doesn't have the same heft as his first.

I loved "Court of the Air" and before finishing it, I'd picked up the second. I'm glad to hear it's as good.

I lovedloved McCullough's Ravirn books. I was wondering if this was the final or not. It was a good, satisfying end, but I'd also quite like to read more about the characters. Ah well, whatever he writes next I'm sure to keep reading.

I don't know anything you don't. I just figure it must be the last book of the series because I can't see any way it can go forward from here. At least, not with Raven as the main character. But I have been wrong about this before.

I could see it continuing with Ravirn finding Tisiphone; trying to find and make his place in the new MythOS; since there are multiple MythOS's running, like one computer running multiple virtual machines, they could investigate the real universe lurking behind the different MythOSes.

I'm not saying any of these would improve upon the ending, just that there are avenues that could be pursued.

This was a good ending though.
