I liked Conrad's Fate quite a lot too! Have you checked out The Pinhoe Egg yet? I'm thinking I need to go back and reread some of the early Chrestomanci books, because I don't remember The Lives of Christopher Chant well at all. For some reason, Witch Week and the Magicians of Caprona are the ones I remember best.

Pinhoe Egg, unfortunately, is in hardcover. It's not that I dislike hardcovers, but I prefer to keep my books from particular series' together. And since I've already invested heavily in DWJ paperbacks, well . . .

Magicians of Caprona is in the to-be-read stack.
