Thinking about leaving again. Really haven't decided. All I know is that I need a change. New apartment....that might help. Might not be enough. Maybe back to Birmingham- or someplace new. Sgt. Chapman invited me up to Ft. Campbell and that got me to thinking about going abck into the Army. I have 6 months until I can try again. Maybe. I dunno. ( Read more... )

Honorable Discharge- Section 5-17. NonDisabilty Medical Discharge. Officially I was discharged for a shoulder injury that has healed since my time out from service from rest and relaxation. (HORSESHIT) On Paper I'm not so nutso...until they check my file if I try to rejoin and discover I was in the Army Funny Farm. Crap-In-A-Hat! Thanks for blowing my plan to shit.

JD, you know that I love you and that I understand that the situation you are going through is a difficult one. But you can't continue to run away from your problems when they seem too overwhelming. I've known you for a long time, and you've always done this. And it's NEVER worked, so why are you considering it now? If you want to move, then move somewhere new and "start over". Make it a place that you really like so that no matter what kind of situation life throws at you, it will be hard to pull up roots. For the love of god, don't rejoin the army. I will kill you before you get into training.
Like I said, really look at why you want a change. Are you really unhappy where you are, or do you just not want to deal with you situation and move on?

Not true. I left Mobile to be with someone (and the registration at Montevallo wa later than South)- and when we broke up- I stayed. for 4 more years. Dammit. I left Montevallo cause I no longer had a place to live. I left Mobile for the Army cause at the time it was the only option I had...other than driving one of my best friends nuts by living with him and his wife. I'm not leaving- I'm stubborn or stupid enough to stand and fight out whatever it is that is going on. Besides, nothing drives your enemies crazier than a smile in the face of overwhelming odds. Makes them wonder what the hell is about to happen.
I start back on the meds this evening and go full blown back on them Thursday night. So, if my memory starts to get fuzzy...

If you pack up and leave less than 2 months after i moved across the damn state to be near you i'm gonna poke you in the eye. with something sharp. and maybe hot. OR maybe i'll poke you in the eye with something dull and icy.
