I had actually typed "Middleman/Wendy" as my final ship, and then went back and changed it. Just b/c I havent read any good MM/WW fics of late. Got any suggestions?

I will try harder, I promise! I have a semi-smut and a smut in the works (although I've been stringing along YourStar with that for three weeks now...at some point, I'm gonna get performance anxiety.)
Speaking of Firefly, we saw Green Lantern tonight. Nathan Fillion was in the running for the role before they picked Ryan Reynolds. No offense to RR, but he does not equate with superhero for me. Seems like some actors think if they buff up, it means they can act like a superhero.
Anyway (sans spoilers), there's one point at which Hal Jordan's supposed to be mustering up all his willpower...and I could not help but compare him unfavorably to Mal in Out of Gas and ...gah, don't want to look it up, but the one where he gets tortured by Niska, and is fighting the goons, and you just *know* he's holding on by teeth and toenails.
Edit: I know Hal Jordan's supposed to be something of a swaggery smartass, which is one reason RR apparently got the part. IMO, though, our man Nate does better smartass AND does better at the 'going on guts alone' stuff. IMO, anyway.
Sorry, DC -- you guys shoulda gone with Fillion. That's all I gotta say about that.
