You know what really irritates me?
When people answer their cell phones in public bathrooms.
I could understand a quick "can't talk, call you back." But no! People like to hold full blown conversations in public bathrooms! I just want to poke my head out and say "Hello! I'm peeing here! Do you mind?"

The knowledge that someone far away can hear me

I like to grunt real loud, like I am passing a chunk of granite. Then loudly talk rudely about it.
