My dad always referred to our pooch as "damn dog" (almost always with an ear scratch) and the honey calls the our present pooch that as well, even when sitting with her on the floor and scratching all her itchy spots!

I love this, it really hit home, and of course you know how I love this verse...well, all your verses...and as much as I love when you beat the crap out of the boys ~*twists evil guy mustache and laughs maniacally*~ I love the little views of normalcy that make them real...
