I was so convinced this chapter sucked when I went to bed last night. I guess I was wrong?

I'm so glad Caleb didn't betray them .. or did he? Still not clear on that, but that's okay because neither are John and Sam ..

He was beginning to appreciate the work Sam had done with his brother, no matter what he suspected it entailed. This, I hope, will make Dean's rehabilitation in the future easier ...

But they still need to find out who the traitor is, they need to get Sam back on his feet (and Dean but then only Sam can do that I think) and they need to get Gorlian.

I love how Dean shot Razz - yay Dean - but now he's not even treading water anymore, drowning in confusion and uncertainty - he's lost his collar, he doesn't belong to Sam anymore and even if he did Sam is the 'late' James' property (at least to Dean) and Dean once again believes the litany: Nothing. No one. Alone.

Good God girl - just when I think that you've broken the boys as much as possible you go and find a way to break those itty bitty pieces into even smaller pieces ....

Wow - what better way to start my weekend than with a new chapter :-) I adore this story and this was a particularly awesome update!! I love poor broken Dean and I'd love to see a bit more of John attempting to connect with him. I'm so torn between wanting Dean to get better but then wanting him to suffer a bit more because its just too delicious.

God you are killing me here...but in a good way...You have mangaged to create such a believable story in which all three are broken...Sam and his killing...John and is uncertainty...Dean and his confusion are just perfect
