Awww I soooooo prefer a happier ending, but the other was truer to your vision of the story, and i can respect that.

aww, reading this after the other one was like waking up from a bad dream. But still, I can see how Dean being alone seems . . . tragically fitting somehow?

Very kind of you to have the option of an ending that doesn't make you cry all over your keyboard, but I don't think I like this version ( ... )

Yeah, it's locked. But, we're working on that.

I'm doing an edit pass on it right now and once she's approved it, I'll post it here and re-do the links.

You know, your reasons for "liking" the first ending are pretty similar to my own.

I actually have a small thing started that takes place like four or five years after the first ending....but I don't know when I'll get around to finishing it.

:o) It would be very nice to read that story - thankyou - I'm making the assumption that it involves the 'branding'.

Just so you know that as soon as you finish your update to this story, whenever that may be, I would very much like to read it ... no pressure though, in your own time.

I know I posted on the other ending, but I think I like this one better! I get that both Sam and John should end up sacrificied, but I think it's actually more fitting that only John does - since he's the one that initially started the crusade. Plus, Dean would literally die without Sam.

But, both are wonderful!
