Oh wow, Sam's intense reaction to the Impala was so strong I could practically smell the Old Spice, the worn leather and all the things Sam smells that remind him of the Impala a Dean.

Honestly with the kind of job they do, that's one thing I really had a hard time understanding and forgiving in Sam's character initially was losing contact with his brother, who loved him, had given everything for him, and could die any night. I think I'm okay with it now only because Sam's grown up and the selfish, hey the world's all about my wants and feelings and since it's all about me nothing bad could happen to the people I love, thing died off a while ago and now, more than ever, he's probably regretting every damn bit of the time he lost with his family. He's lucky, it could've happened just like this instead, with never a chance to grow up and make it right.

Yeah,...Sam has a bit of a selfish streak...especially pre-series Sam.

It's nice to see it burn away as he matures.
