After the NIN show last night, we got stranded in Philly for hours at this train station & this guy who best friends with Sonic Youth came in & we ended up talking for 2 hours! I GOT A SY VIP PASS & ALMOST ATE SOME OF KIM GORDON'S SALAD THAT HE HAD WITH HIM [WTF?!] The only reason I didn't was because I felt like shit from too much McDonald's. He was also at a Buzzcocks' show & is in a band with Television's ex-drummer.
Yeah...he had SY's CD signed of course & all that but he actually knows them and their families well in person.
He was pretty cool [except for a few things]...we have to chat about it!!!
I ALMOST ATE THURSTON'S FOOD...THINK ABOUT IT.
