We need to make energy more expensive so that bloggers stop competing with newspapers.

I'm not kidding. That's actually what this moistened bint is arguing in favor of.

Edit: I've been informed that the author is not, in fact, a moistened bint. I hereby change my characterization to that of "Suppurating asshole."

Stupid and crazy, yes, but one thing the author seems not to be guilty of is being a bint.

I agree with the commenter who hopes it's some kind of Swiftian joke.

Ah, well, "Dusty"'s a bit sex-ambiguous, and I went with the comments that referred to the author as 'she.'

Yeah, but Google the guy! You won't be sorry. It makes me hope the editorial is some kind of joke. Except his other jokes don't seem funny. Hmmmm.

Dusty Horwitt: Bill Clinton Impersonator?

Shit, that's *hilarious*. I wonder how much electricity it takes to run that server.

We need to make newspapers more expensive so that Dusty Horwitt can't find a forum.

It's even worse than that - it's not about propping up newspapers

It's about how the newspapers are losing control of America - losing their ability to "educate" us to their monolithic viewpoint.

Perhaps we should license speech? That'll really cut the chatter.
