So far, days later, neither the Sentinel or the BBC (or, presumably, any other news entity which reprinted the story) has issued a correction of their very serious errors of fact.

I wouldn't hold my breath. IMO, the articles carried a clear gun-control attitude within them. They got their point and opinions across at the cost of accurate reporting.

I'm already ashamed enough that the city ran a "gun buyback." Come on, this is Florida, not Jersey or Mass. At least I don't live in Orlando city limits, so I'm not paying for this stupidity.
