Question one: #1 Better contrast, brings the eye through the picture better

Question 2: #1 though the color could be tweaked a bit more.. The B&W is too contrasty there and tends to not let you see the image as a whole.

I prefer B&W on both. But the frycooks is my favorite.

I like the arches in B&W and the bricks in color.

And I agree with Kit that the picture of the cooks is the best of the bunch.

I prefer the colour on both images because it adds more warmth to the feel for me. With that said I don't have a problem with the b&w and like those too, I just prefer the colour.

I also want to add another +1 to the frycook image being the choice pick of the lot.
