I'll admit a bias against Bolton for his role in the eviction of Mauricio Bustani a few years ago. Low, arrogant, unprofessional.

There's an interesting discussion going on in this journal, on the US situstion and international politics. Since a confessed commie already piped up, I thought I'd draft a libertarian to make it fair and balanced. ;)

Here's the thing: I suspect a lot of Bolton supporters will say he's an unethical, possibly evil scumbag. I still say he's the perfect asshole for the job. If anything, I wish the child molester was MORE aggressive.

There are certain jobs that you need noxious people to do. The trick is to remember to rotate them out of those jobs after the necessary shock therapy has been applied, as they get in the way of installing the plumbing after they've fire-bombed the outhouse.
