AvP really, really sucked. I mean, I certainly wasn't expecting a masterpiece, but was at least expecting something fun. What I got instead was perhaps the single laziest exercise in screenwriting I've ever seen

The life-cycle objections are covered in the Dark Horse comics and novels. The aliens we see in the movie are modified by the Predators to be tougher, smarter, stronger, and faster growing than the ones found in the wild

Eh... makes sense I guess. Still a shame, it had such potential.

I know it's silly to nitpick a movie like this, but why didn't the predators make those chains that keep the alien queen locked up out of whatever they made those spears from? Seems like a no brainer...

Regardless I had fun making all sorts of MST3K comments as well as most of the audience who was watching...
