I guess I'm reading into it the wrong way, because I sort of saw a "Mat's brainwashed me, but I don't care cause I'm happier this way," thing.... except it sounds like he was ACTUALLY happy. Maybe it's because I've seen lots of people flirt with each other and it really NOT mean anything, and I've seen people make out for free drinks and it really DOESN'T mean anything.... of course, there was never any fucking, but hey, if you need a blowjob, you need a blowjob, and when the only people you have available are all dudes... well.... you're not gay if you just needed a blowjob and he offered.

So yeah, I didn't see this as sad, really, just basic facts of life learned from the ever-wise Mat Devine, and put into paper and words by Daniel Wiese.
