Because I'm Cool Like That

You know, the weather here was pretty mild from June to late August. But now that we're getting closer to fall, the temperature seems to be escalating. Does that seem right to you? It's 78ºF outside, but it's 87ºF in this room. There's something wrong here. My house doesn't have any air conditioning, so I once it got hot, I broke out all the fans ( Read more... )

lol, i've become pretty aware of how to keep a house living in texas. i'd suggest like if you're by the computer to by one of those little personalized fans that just blows in your face. also, leave doors open when you leave the house (besides the outside doors, of course xD) and when you're home, have at least two windows open. the airflow in the house is a lifesaver.

also, heat rises, and i'm not against sitting on the floor if it's really hot. it's a lot cooler down there sometimes [:

Ohh. I haven't been doing any of the things that you just suggested, except for leaving the doors open (which is what I always do no matter what day or time). This helps a lot. Thank you.

It must be ten times worse in Texas, yeah? My aunt lives there and she's always talking about the extreme weather conditions that Texas goes through.
