2) Finally feeling comfortable talking openly about being bisexual with someone.
You know, I attempted that recently. What a mistake. I was told that being bisexual is a privilege and that if I am married, I have chosen to be straight (not that I am still bi and have chosen a straight relationship; this person refused to admit the two were two entirely different things). Apparently if you are straight or gay, it is solely based on who your current partner is. And this person, who is die hard straight, was convinced they were right because a man that had chosen to be gay because he while he likes sex with men and women both (therefor IS bi), he decided he liked sex with men more and so chose to be gay and not chose to have a gay relationship. Because, again, who your partner is negates your preferences.
Never again (with this person). It was a HUGE head desky conversation.
So. Apparently, I am straight. Who knew?
ETA: And wow. Babbly. But I think you got my drift.
I had an ex-boyfriend who was like that, actually. He wasn't mean about it or anything, he just didn't believe that I was bi. He actually told me that if he ever really thought I was bi, he would break up with me because how could he ever make me happy? *rolls eyes* Some people just really don't understand that a) it's not up to other people to make ME happy, it's up to ME and I do a great job, thanks; and b) being bisexual doesn't mean you need both to feel satisfied. It just means (for me anyway) that my love feelings and my sex feelings don't differentiate based on gender.
People are stupid. But it's SO NICE to be able to be myself and not have to censor my past or my desires or whatever. It's incredibly liberating.
*nods* And she is clearly one of these people that will just never understand, so it's just going to be something that I will never, ever bring up again.

I hear you. DH knows and he could give a shit less.
This is the only image that stayed in my head from the minute Chase took off his shirt and... well into now, really. I mean, the plot was nice and all, but after 2 seasons of Chase-deprivation, this image definitely stuck.
AH I didn't realize it was Chase :P He's so gorgeous. I've missed him being on the show for real. I hope they bring Chase and Cameron back as main players, because as much as I hate Cameron, at least she's interesting. 13 makes me want to drive spikes into my eyes.
Who was the date with? That boy you were talking about before??
Some movies I would watch because I love them so: Cider House Rules, Foul Play, Pleasantville, Point Break, Aramageddon (don't judge me), American Beauty, Office Space, NSYNC Live @ Madison Square Gardens, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
I got an AWESOME price on the netbook. I didn't end up getting it from HP because I found a crazy sale on an Acer somewhere else, and the Acer has an ethernet jack and 3 usb ports, which the HP only had 2 usb ports and no ethernet jack. But I did get a case and a travel mouse from HP for a ridiculously good price ($24 total, plus free shipping!) so it all worked out :)
The date was with the boy I was talking about before. Well, guy. I mean, he's younger than me but he's not a *boy*. Catsilo. I went on a date!! This is revolutionary :P
I thought about Cider House Rules! I love that movie. Sosososo good. And we actually watched Point Break the weekend after Swayze died, in tribute. I love that movie. Do you think MSG is better to show than Atlantis? Atlantis is my favorite, but I think it's mostly because of the outfits and JC's hair and the medley and TIPY in the aquarium. I wonder if I could argue that since Atlantis is only like 45 minutes, I should get to combine Atlantis and MSG :P
I'm so glad about the savings you got on the netbook. Let me know if you ever need anything else...
CHR is so great, watch it everytime it's on. See I like MSG, because they sound amazing and JC licks the stage (and I love Just Got Paid), but you make excellent points about Atlantis. So I think your combo idea rocks!
Movie list! Il Postino, Watchmen, Truly Madly Deeply (with the young and delish Alan Rickman!), Dangerous Liaisons, The Age of Innocence, Galaxy Quest (don't judge me!), The English Patient, The Last King of Scotland. Silence of the Lambs. The Reader.

Oops, was thinking of the wrong movie.
Anyway, yeah, The Reader is *also* definitely thought provoking. Go rent it!
