Well, it is IRAN. I don't have a lot of hope, but it's quite exciting to see the people protesting there.

Thanks for that link! I've been watching silly romantic comedies all day and I haven't seen anything about it when I switched over to the news channels. This should be a much bigger deal than the cable news channels are making it. :(

I've been following it! I have Daily Dish on my Google Reader and it's crazy. It's kind of scary, but at the same time it's really exciting to see people protesting. Empowering.

They had apparently had a record turnout, too, with 85% of the voting population.

I read something in the Statesman, but the paper seemed to shrug it off. The riots I hadn't heard about.
Am I surprised that Ahmadinejad tried to steal an election? Hell no. I'm interested to see how this plays out. I mean, considering a revolution is essentially what allowed this guy to come into power to begin with, it'd be ironic that one boots him out.
