Huh. I guess if you're only going to write 8,000 words of this, this certainly is a suitable way of ending it. ;)

Seriously, though, I've told you before how I feel about this one, and how much I love it and how brilliant it is. But, like you said, nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition, and I think you found a perfectly fitting way to wrap it up - or, at least, this chapter of their lives.

Heh. Yeah, it's one way to cheat an ending!

I think if I had the heart, I could've easily written 10,000 more words. I just... ran out, you know? And I think it's okay for to accept that and let it go.

I know. And it's perfectly okay when that happens; it's okay to say good-bye, you know?

Wow. Some parts of this were really painful and some parts were really hopeful and the whole thing is just beautiful. I really like how you ended it. Also, I love the Mad Men stuff.

I really, really like this. I'm sorry you weren't able to finish what you were originally planning, but I think this is lovely.

Thank you. I think, for what it is, it turned out okay. It could've been better, but I think if I had forced the rest, it would've detracted from what was good to begin with.
