I'm sorry that you'll have to move with all that going on. I can understand the freaking out about the hurricane, though.

We evacuated because of Gustav, and we really aren't looking forward to getting hit by Ike. Sure, if it hits Texas, we won't get the full force, but we'll still get a good chunk. A lot of people here are thinking they don't have anything to worry about, because Ike is heading toward Texas. I keep reminding them that Rita was headed toward Texas and turned at the last minute and slammed into Louisiana. That sucked.

Oh, I thought of you earlier today. I heard about THIS on the radio this morning, and later today, I found the longer article.

Austin is pretty far inland. I mean, we're not even halfway across the state... but it's TEXAS, bigger than France, etc etc. It's a big fucking state. I have a friend who's supposed to go to Houston today and there's no way that's going to happen. We're already planning for housing evacuees. It's going to be an interesting weekend. I bet Austin doesn't get much actual hurricane action, though.

Fucking Chasez. Last night I had a dream that I was at the VMAs. While I was in the bathroom, Prince had taken my seat. So I had to sit next to Prince instead, and onstage? JC singing 'Let's Go Crazy.' Oh, and in my dream he looked HOT. He had curls, he had some eyeliner on, he was unbuttoning his band uniform... yes, he was wearing the band uniform. *facepalm*

Oh lord. If I ever have teenie thoughts about Justin, please shoot me. I did have a dream about him once in which I was his assistant and he sent me on an errand for some sort of furniture he really wanted and I ended up being murdered in the process. I came back as a ghost and Justin was like, "Okay, but where my dresser...?"
