1) My housemates are officially insane. Or just mean. I can't really tell which. Last night, instead of turning the A/C off, they switched it to "fan" which meant it didn't actually cool anything, it just circulated the 90+ degree air in the house ( Read more... )

I know a guy that might be in the market for a roommate. He's kind of messy and sort of an energy hog, but he is a big fan of the A/C. I can inquire if you like.

Nah, I'm going to stick it out at this place until October, and then move and get my own place. Now that someone is taking my cat for the duration, I don't have to be worried so much. I know *I* can survive the heat, and I can be as passive-agressive as anybody when pushed. So once I don't have the cat to worry about, I can bring out the Bitch.

My only thought is that they are too high to realize that leaving the door open is a stupid idea for many reasons.

Is the blond girl doing the livevideo interviews Gina? She's adorable.

The blonde is Natalie, and she is very adorable. Gina is the girl running the actual chat. She's got sort of dyed red hair, I think, and is a dancer, possibly.

JC is adorable in that interview. I still can't get over him being all, period table of elements and things :P

I'd suggest a plug in A/C unit for one room (the kind that stand on the floor, not in the window), but that might be more trouble than it's worth.

Yeah, things will get better once I get the cat out of there and am not constantly worried he will die in the night :(
