So good, and believable! I'll echo other people's thoughts that I kind of hope that they do surprise us and go this route in an upcoming episode.

Genuine IC emotion and dialogue. Very nice.

Thank you and I'm glad you found it to be IC. I always worry about that when I'm writing the two of them interacting:)

that was very good, damn, more than good. I cried my little heart out again along with them (no, I started before them).
This is so much better than anything tptb could ever come up with. This would be a series end to die for (no not House! Wilson will win this fight), a deserving end. Open end but full of hope and at last honesty between them (even if it could always be more), emotion between them, House ready to cry into Wilson's shoulder and be held. You did this well, thank you. When the real and very disappointing finale has run I will come back and read this story again, pretending it was the real McCoy. Thank you!

Thanks so much! You know, when I wrote this I didn't cry which is really unusual for me. I wonder why. Anyway, I would like to see some kind of display of emotion and affection between House and Wilson before the series ends, be it platonic (yeah, right) or romantic. They're friends that have know each other for two decades--it's a long time in coming! It doesn't have to be an all out bawl-fest or passionate lovemaking (like they did with Huddy). I'll settle with a genuine hug, and/or a few tears and House telling Wilson that he really does care about him very much. That would make it a good ending for this saga, for me at least.
