Yay for eyebrows-waggling Wilson! And especially for boy-wonder-oncologist, therefore not-dying Wilson... I really, really love this fic. I think it's extra balanced by having (as in canon) Chase come to say goodbye - it's the end of a life phase for House, AND for Wilson. What he has learned about himself since the diagnosis cannot be unlearned, or forgotten.

His sullenness, the fact that going back to the precancer status quo is no longer an option, are quite justified. And good to see that House, while able to think rationally even with Wilson's lips pushed against his own, eventually makes a non rational decision. (swoon)

If you ever feel like writing a sequence, twlling us what they end up doing in this new life, I'm all for it.

Hi! Thanks so much. I initially wasn't going to add anything more to this but I've changed my mind. I'm not certain where it will go yet but I've got the next instalment already written and it should be up soon. Instead of "Holding ON", my version is "Letting Go" :)

You cured Wilson. That alone makes me happy. I love the interaction between him and House at the end, and the turn it takes. I agree with Dami that anchoring your fic in canon was a good idea.

I wish that House's shocked expression had been him seeing that the cancer had completely gone like you have here. Really wonderful. I enjoyed this very much.

Thank you. I know some people are able to write death fics but I just can't handle them right now so I have to cure Wilson every opportunity I get ;)

Thank you! I was left wondering if the Canon Wilson considered what getting better meant for his future when he made his decision NOT to seek further treatment. I wonder if he wasn't depressed with his life and at least in a little way saw death as an escape from the depression and a life he was disappointed with.
