R J Scott's next Sanctuary book

So I was just over to Silver Publishing, because I wanted to check the release date for the next book in the Sanctuary Series by R. J. Scott, and it is no longer listed there at all. It was there yesterday. I even typed the title in to the search by title/series box. This greatly distresses me, because I was so looking forward to reading Jake's ( Read more... )

YOu know, I don't remember seeing anything on her FB about the release date. I checked her website and it says the book is WIP with a release in November, but no actual date. Also, the book isn't in the latest Silver Publishing newsletter under books released as of November 17th, nor is it in the upcoming releases section either.

I've been looking forward to reading it, too. I hope a problem hasn't come up!

It was listed up there when I put my book list up last week. That is why I included it. It had a November release. I almost pre-ordered it last night. I did order two other books instead.

When I went up there about an hour ago to go ahead and pre-order it anyway, it was gone.

I knew that the publisher was having some problems, but apparently they are worse than I thought. I hope if she pulled it, she will let us know soon. I was really looking forward to reading it.

Yes, but when you click on the link, it no longer takes you to this book. It did the other day, now it takes you to the home page.

That is odd because at her blog she quotes a November eelease through Silver.

When you said the publisher was having problems, did you mean Silver? I've been reading the "Orgasmic Texas Dawn" series by A.J. Llewelyn also published by Silver. Her next book is also due out on 11/24. Hopefully Silver remains solvent until then.

I don't think that they are going out of business, but some authors have taken their rights back so they can publish their books, elsewhere. I'm just wondering if R.J. did that also with this last book in the Sanctuary Series.
