It's a fair question. Mostly, I've been on Twitter, with some forays into Tumblr, Blogger, and the beginnings of my WordPress site (soon to come).

I honestly don't know how much I'm going to keep writing here in this LiveJournal. I'm focusing a great deal of my energy for writing online into public persona spaces, and this LJ was never intended to ( Read more... )

You do a better job of maintaining your LJ, looks like, than I do. .wry grin. I just posted something much to the same effect as to moving away from the private journaling. I don't know that I'd ever get rid of my LJ account, as there's just too many years of process and growth in here to let go, but the chances of updating it these days are less and less likely.

Oh, you're totally right. I would *never* just close my account without figuring out how to output and save my journal somewhere. This does have years of processing in it that I would hate to lose to the digital ether.

I think these things come in cycles. I definitely see you more on Twitter and hear more about your blogs (*grin* yay!) than I see you here. And yet, here we are chatting. It's a funny world.

Well, there are a few ways to output one's journal out there. But that aside, there's also a lot of community here -- I'm reading friend posts for the first time in something around a year, and enjoying it in a way that the monster commonly known as facebook never really filled.

It is a funny world, and gloriously (excessively?) interconnected. It's good to see you elsewhere on the internerds, regardless, especially as we're both so rarely here these days.

Which Pride? The big Sunday Pride at the end of the month? Or Leather? Or Brooklyn? :)
