You know, you never really realize just how useful LJ can be. Today I was thinking that I really need to start making appointments to get my IUD replaced. I'm thinking "it's getting close to 5 years, and I'm going to need a new one soon

I went to my doctor about my IUD replacement and she says 5 years is no longer the point at which Mirena must be replaced - she says folks are fine up to 8 years or more, and that it may be even longer than that

LJ is really handy for checking dates. Dave wasn't sure how long he had been working at his current job and needed to verify, and I said, "Let me just check my LJ." I checked and found all the info that he needed.
