As Luke walked into the room where Damian waited, the blond glanced uncertainly over his shoulder at Reid. For the hundredth time, Luke wondered if it had been a good idea to ask the doctor to come with him today. Maybe this would be too much of a strain on their recently restored friendship. Henry at the diner! Hee. You really know how to write him well. :D
And I'm really glad that Luke and Reid are slowly becoming friends. I know we all want them to jump each other's bones but this relationship is nice to see.

Glad you liked Henry--for some reason I stared at a blank screen for quite some time before I could come up with how to write him in this chapter.
Yeah, the jumping each other's bones will come later (yay!) but for now they've got to figure out how to trust each other and see each other for who they really are.
Thank you so much!

I was just thinking about you. I saw where someone mentioned a line from your "The Third Roommate" in the game over on LRO. It made me miss your fics!

I like how Reid is Reid - facing the facts and acting as a true friend, even though he might lose what he wants most in the process. Telling Luke what he has to hear, not what Luke wants to hear.
I like how Reid realizes it is time to let his anger go - his world is upside down already, let him take that final step so the healing can begin.
And, last but not least, I like Henry. I like how Reid looks at him as he's just the weirdest creature ever seen - and he is ;)
Yeah, I like all that - and the rest too :)

I always wished I knew someone as nuts as Henry. I think it would be highly entertaining. I can't imagine a world where Henry wouldn't annoy Reid--they just seem like oil and water.
Thank you!

Oh baby Reid! I am suffering with you!
Maybe he'll able to change his attitude, he could learn to act different, to fight his anger, but changing who he is????
And I hope, he won 't ♥♥♥ Reid has the right to be untrusting, his mother, the person who was supposed to show him how to trust, failed, so how is he supposed to trust other people and himself in the first place? Luke should show HIM that he can be trusted...
Petunia, sorry to be the "advocatus diaboli" here
GREAT UPDATE however!!!
