Chapter 3
                Luke and Damian met on the stairs on their way to this evening's entertainment.  Both were dressed in replicas of 1920s tailcoats, a New York tailor having been hired to create both their looks.  The cuts were divine, even if it did make Luke feel a little ridiculous to be dressed like Fred Astaire.

Thank you! I've got some major revisions needed for chapter 4, and would like to have all of 5 written, so I'm guessing it will be next week when I can get it out. I wish I was the type who could pull off a chapter a day!

Luke and Reid meet in a situation where Reid is vulnerable and Luke comes to rescue him - in an absolutely Luke-ish way!

"Sorry. I didn't mean that. When I'm upset, my default mode is 'asshole.'" Reid paused and said, "Thank you for helping me."

Thank you. I think Luke makes a good hero every now and then. Glad you liked that line!
I'm still tinkering with the next chapter--the next few are giving me fits because the credibility of the entire story sort of rides on the next few.

Enjoying it! I agree with all the others-nice to see Luke helping Reid out (although, imo, he did kind of rescue Reid in Texas and Reid was pretty appreciative of it -unlike the Douche. I think Reid gets off on both being pushed around by and/or being rescued by Luke, lol)...anyway, babbling on. I hope I was making sense (no coffee yet).

Thank you. I agree, Luke did come to rescue Reid on the show--and I think Luke's heroic personality really appealed to Reid. I guess the alpha male in Reid secretly liked being a beta every now and then.
Hope you got your coffee-I'm a total addict and can't function without caffeine.

Yes, I remember how thrilled you were that I had Luke bust himself out of that castle cell (I can't believe how ridiculous that sounds).
I'm trying to get the boys to fall in love over the weekend, but Reid makes it so difficult with his big mouth! He wouldn't be all cuddly no matter what Luke did to save him. Of course, Reid is good at going secretly weak in the knees as such things.
