the site is delicious (then again, have you made *anything* that is less than savoury?). I really really really want to go to NZ & Australia & Fiji!
re: LUSH. You've been bitten by the bug. Woe. ;) I adore their Aquamarina face wash for the dry winter days and for the rest of the year, I swear by Angels on Bare Skin. (It smells like chamomile tea!). For a bad oily summer, I have tried herbalism.
do NOT get me started on the solid shampoos and the solid conditioner. I will NOT shut up about their fabulousness.
Many thanks for the Lush tips, I shall have to sample those particulars at some point (& ooh, chamomile tea, one of my favourites!). ;)
eek, I've been eyeing their solid shampoos & the like for a while now, I think you've just sold me on them! *hmm, can practically smell their loveliness as I type...*
what is your skin type, starlette? I will gladly send you samples of Herbalism/Aqua Marina/Angels on bare skin or all of the above, if you like. I shall add it to the very VERY (embarassingly!) belated parcel.
Shampoos - i find the karma shampoo to be too perfumey. But that's just me. Ultimate shine is nice, but my favourite is Reincarnate. Reincarnate, however, is for dark hair (it has henna) so i fear it would make your lovely highlights wonky. Trichomalia (?sp) is amazing though. It smells like toasted coconuts and marshmallow. *salivates* And Jungle, the solid conditioner? I love it.
I'm going on a Lush diet for a little while... need to save some money. I will be v. sad when my supply diminishes. :/
Honey bell, finally I can get down to business and reply to you! My site seems to have grown arms & legs and has kept me uber busy the past wee while, but finally things are slowing down a bit and I can catch my breath. Shall go into more detail (no doubt, as have wild stuff to tell you all) about it when I next update on here... whenever that will be!
Skin type = combination. :) I'd love to try some samples, how... I was going to say lush, ha.
I'm a bit oh-no when it comes to overly perfumey products too, my mum has a bottle of sonic monkey shampoo, and that's a little too much for me. I'm into my simple scents at the moment. Toasted coconuts and marshmallow sounds like it'd be completely up my street. Oooh.. well, now I have some spare money, I think I'll be treating myself to some lovely products.
I hope your supply is still going strong at present, if things get desperate then you can call the Lush Police (aka moi) and I'll send you some emergency supplies! ;)
Yay! :D Thank you kindly! I'm so glad to hear it comes across NZy. *grins like a mad thing*
Ariini, this is going to be fab... hopefully I shall get my mitts on lots of lovely information, and maybe we'll finally get you going to a Kiwi gig over there! *cross fingers!*
Lovely! New Zealand is a place I sorely want to visit (after America) and not because of the popularity of LOTRS *groan* etc. A friend of my dad's lives there and basically says it's the tops! Also my Aunt has a sister who lives in Wellington and also says it's two thumbs up. (oh and obviously there is the Heavenly Creatures linkage)
Sorry it has taken me so long to reply... I've been a bit brain "dead" recently. Do you still have a James Leer Fanlisting? I want to join a few fanlistings and put pretty icons on my Friends Only page...
I thought I had commented but that might have been my imagination. Anyway, your new website looks loverly (time well spent :D) and I'll send it on over to my sister's boyfriend who has Kiwi friends.
Ooh, thank you. :) It's been good, it's really getting those skills that've lain dormant for some time back into action, which can only be a good thing.
I'd forgotten about your sister's bf's Kiwi friends! Nice one! I'm starting to hear about quite a few US gigs, so it'll be worth keeping an eye out for them. If I hear about anything super duper I'll be sure to pass the word along to you. ;)
Hope all is well with you... gradually catching up (!) xxx
Yeah, it's sort of grown arms and legs... I was hoping to (finally) catch up with everyone last weekend, which then became this weekend.. which now looks like it'll be this week or well, at some point!
It's good getting back into the swing of things though, it's reminded me how to promote places & whatnot, which I can now use for Mythical Realms. ;) Talking of the which, it looks like people have really got posting there *thumbs up* hurrah!
