Back in the saddle again - Semester trios

Finally, my Beverly Lewis book from Amazon.com came in! It’s very hard to put the book down, and I can almost picture Lancaster, PA from her descriptions.

Have you ever tried christianbook.com? I haven't read anything by Lewis, but I know they carry her stuff. And I have found that on many of the books that christianbook.com carry are even cheaper than Amazon.

Is this Beverly Lewis book the book that your darling husband has been concerned about?

My boss openly laughed at me for reminding him to follow Loss Prevention procedure when a panic button was pressed today. A panic button is this poorly placed super sensitive button that just by looking at can freeze your register and pop open the cash drawer. It is designed as the easy open button in case of a robbery. Since it is so sensitive you are to immediately email home office in the event of accidental activation. It's important to let them know so 1) they don't think we're getting robbed; 2) register accidents so people don't get fired. He laughed at me for suggesting he email home office. It was a large "how dare you suggest that I do something menial as that" laugh. I'm on the fricking Health and Safety/ Loss Prevention committee.

Sorry for the rant.

Yes. He's practically seething with rage at the United States Postal Service, because he also ordered a new Backyardigans DVD for Abbie, and it STILL hasn't arrived, despite Amazon having it ready on May 11.

Ranting accepted. Drive through.

I'm never going to crack wise about Canada Post ever again. The USPS has got them beat now.
