i tested it out on my own journal - apparently the script sees all comments, the 532 it saw matches up with the total number i've received so far (counting private and flocked entries). i suspect it stops counting after the 9992nd comment BECAUSE I HAVE LEFT YOU MORE THAN FOUR ;____; and i'm a recent commentor by both journals' standards.
