Turn Out Your Lights! Now!

Earth Hour has started, and I'm sitting in the dark until 9:30. Unfortunately, when I look outside my door, it seems that the lights are glaring from the windows of most of the other houses on the street. It's rough being a trailblazer.

I turned my front porch light off, but it doesn't make much difference in my neighborhood, either. However, if the power keeps going wonky, Mother Nature will take care of it for us. (Heavy snow is taking down power lines all over town...)

You have snow? Wow. I had no idea. The Midwest is pretty much a screwed-up place, weather-wise, isn't it? Are you getting any flooding too, like I'm seeing from farther north? It rained a little here today, but it was warm. Should be near 70 degrees tomorrow.

As for Earth Hour, some of my neighbors may have gotten into the act a little late. Several houses seem to have gotten dark after my original post. I guess I should update it.
