I'm having a bit of a crappy day to be honest. I won't go into details because I think I complain too much, but still. Crappy.

Okay one more complaint before I stop: I think I've become cutesy. I used to be acerbic, now I'm cutesy. I knew I shouldn't have watched all that vintage Sesame Street...

YAY FIC---Looking forward and welcome back for that. :)

Well, if you look for it there's plenty of snark to be found in Sesame Street, especially the era I grew up in. Alistaire Cookie. Guy Smiley. A lot of Kermit's stuff. OK, we're not talking Daily Show here, but we PBS kiddies got a bit of sardonic humour with our ABC's. (Although not as much as when we watched The Electric Company, that stuff was awesome plus we got Rita Moreno, Morgan Freeman and Joan Rivers,, among othere.)

Oh yeah, I don't think Sesame Street is cutesy at all! It's more that watching it makes me regress, massively. The Electric Company? I haven't heard of that, it sounds pretty great...

I have two fics planned out and one that I'm toying with which is total crack and I can't decide whther to go for it. I'll wait until after this exam on Monday before I actually write them though. Probably. I might use them to procrastinate instead...

Another product of the Children's Television Workshop, which gave us Sesame Street.

It just cracks me up that a whole generation of kids first knew Morgan Freeman as Easy Reader.
