I've had times when I try on all my clothes. It's recently been because every party I attend will wind up on Facebook in photos, and I become painfully aware of how it might look if I'm wearing the same shirt at every party.

Fair enough. I'm sure it's not an abnormal behaviour or anything, it just bugs me that it's become this trope and I can't really identify with it.

Ugh, yeah, facebook tagging. There's always one that gives me a ridiculous nose, or one where I'm gurning, or whatever. And then you have to decide whether you can detag or if it looks a bit too humourless. And people are probably going to see it anyway. MINEFIELD.

You can always pretend they were all at the same party! You can explain the varying hair lengths by saying there was a guy who kept following you around and periodically trimming. It was that kind of party.

Word. I also hate the assertion that all guys are are Manswers-watching morons who can't be arsed to eat anything more sophisticated than fast food AND YET ARE SOMEHOW STILL SEEN AS DESIRABLE.

You should see the rest of the post. Us wimmins, we so crazy, when we have sex we hallucinate ponies... or something.

In my attempt to avoid starting this essay (now due in 37 hours, 15 mins approx) I've been reading a lot of feminist/liberal blogs. I can't tell you how much of a relief it is. IRL I constantly have to defend my feminism to idiots. In the lefty blogosphere I feel like a total noob, but in a good way.
