I know that feeling. My first year of college -- no, my first WEEK of college -- I met at least three different people who seemed really nice and chill and then made some kind of not-even-the-tiniest-bit-subtle racist comment in front of me. It was so disappointing.

Seriously. In this day and age. I can't even get my head around it. And, yeah, she's not the first person, either. When trying to justify it, she said "I have problem with people coming over and taking our land." I mean, what? Are you fucking KIDDING me?

I just... maybe it's just that I'm sheltered, but I didn't think people believed that kind of shit anymore.
