Apparently the excrement has met with the air-conditioner. I was at an old friend's party getting impressively drunk, so I missed it. Oh well, life goes on, hmm?

Anyway, I still haven't finished the fic. I keep getting distracted by other ideas. However, I think what I'll do tomorrow is type up a very silly little RPS piece I wrote a while back, ( Read more... )

I liked and disliked things about this ep. But the death scene reduced me to a puddle.

I love Jack. He "kept thinking about his team". By which he obviously means Ianto. Sigh.

I guess it wasn't perfect, but generally I thought it was great.

Off the top of my head, I think I only have four people on my f-list (including yourself) who are DW fans, and that's it, so I'm not really sure what the consensus is.

I hated The Crying of Lot 49, but I was also pretty young when I read it, so maybe it all flew over my pointy little head.

Hey, horses for courses. I probably have a predisposition towards Pynchon, for various reasons. And I've always been a fan of nonsense. But what about this:

He walked out of a party one night because somebody used the word 'creampuff', it seemed maliciously, in his hearing. The man was a refugee Hungarian pastry cook talking shop, but there was your Mucho: thin-skinned.

I practically laughed coffee through my nose.
