Heidi had been in her office when Peter came by, both had the afternoon off which was surprising so they thought they might spend it together. She smiled when she saw him, subconsciously sucking her lips due to the fact he was wearing his paramedic's uniform. "Hi there."

Peter had just gotten off work when he came by her office, and he hadn't gone home to change, so he had an excuse for being in his uniform. But he may have conveniently not taken a chance of clothes to work anyway. He smiled brightly when he saw her and walked over to lean down and kiss her cheek. "Hey. Good to see you."

She nodded "You too, so we both have the afternoon off one I sincerely hope neither of us will be called away from," It wasn't a problem for her but with Peter's job you never knew when he might be needed "The world is our oyster."

"Yeah, if it gets bad, they might call me back," he said, and chewed on his lip. "But hopefully it won't." He smiled again. "We should be able to have some fun though."

"I do like fun, I get the feeling you don't have a lot of fun now days." Peter threw himself into his work, and while it was noble what he did he sort of cut himself off from those who cared about him. Like her.
