Can not sleep

It is 1 am in the morning and sleep is not in side, i have a slight ear infection and for some reason i feel extremely alone right now, it is not a bad feeling for a lot of time i need the space i am in right now to make sense of live itself

there is something about the stillness of the middle of the night when you can't sleep that lends to that sense of aloneness and isolation, like the rest of the world is sharing something that you're not party to and you have to make your own way for a while, until sleep returns

that is a beautiful scence you described, sounds like the kitty wanted some attention, some proper recognition for her regal qualities, regardless of what your instructor thought - it also reminds me of something I read about Jung and synchronicity, how a patient was telling him during a session about a dream about a scarab beetle, and then suddenly one buzzes into the window of Jung's office - the kitty was drawn to you, it seems, and she comes to you as a happy remembrance :)
